Isehara... Isehara... Isehara... Isehara... Isehara...
I conquered the Hakone pass! Or at least I managed to push my bike over the Hakone pass... Ok la... 40% push... This hill was worst then Aoyama... It was steep... It was long (15km straight uphill!)... And I lost my cleat so I can't utilise my pedals!!! Total distances rode 106km... Set off at 0900hrs... Reached hotel at 1915! When I reached the hotel... I wanted to hug all the staffs and cry...
This point marked the start of the uphills into Hakone, pass the Hakone pass and into Odawara... From where I detoured to Hadano and into Isehara...
Bamboo forest in the hills of Hakone...
Lake Ashi... Why is there a lake in the middle of the hill? It's a pretty sight...
Highest point of National route 1... I climbed upto 874m? After this signboard was a long and winding downhill to Odawara... This downhill was done at an average of 25km/hr... Because there was traffic jam?!? And the curves are... Curvy... Safe... Not dead...
Do not trust my camera's time stamp! This signboard brought tears to my eyes... I are wet with sweat... My toes are frozen... I just want to lay down and sleep... From Hadano onwards... I actually kept myself going with chants of "Isehara! Isehara! Isehara!"... I can only blame myself for booking a hotel in Isehara... Which is in the middle of Kanagawa Prefecture... Odawara is at the side... My next distinction Yokohama is at the side... But I have to go book a hotel in the middle of Kanagawa! Oh yeah...
